About the Author:

Monica Kelsey served our country as a Yeoman in the United States Navy for eight years. She then pursued a career as a medic and firefighter, serving the Fort Wayne, Indiana area. She is the founder of Safe Haven Baby Boxes, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to education, awareness, and saving infants from abandonment through safe surrender at designated safe haven sites either face to face or utilizing an installed safety device called a baby box. Monica is the mother of 3 grown children and wife of Joe Kelsey, currently the Mayor of Woodburn, Indiana.
